About me

Hello and welcome! My name is Maria. 

Originally from the far east of Russia and raised in Latvia, my journey brought me to the sunny shores of Florida 13 years ago. It was also around this time that our family grew to include our fifth child — yes, I’m a busy and happy mother of five!

Growing up, there was always a camera around thanks to my husband’s lifelong passion for photography. However, it was here in the U.S. that I truly discovered my own passion for photography and creative expression.

Over the past seven years, photography has blossomed from a personal interest into my profession. I absolutely love capturing the genuine connections between people and the artistry of food (and, of course, enjoying good food and company myself!).

When I’m not behind the lens, you can often find me in my kitchen, happily baking homemade bread and pizza.

I would be delighted to connect with you and capture the special moments in your life, whether it’s a family portrait session, a wedding, or another significant event. My goal is to create beautiful photographic memories for you to cherish, and I always look forward to the wonderful people I get to meet along the way.
